The Malagasy Pro Padel Tour (MPPT) circuit enjoyed another success this weekend with the Orange MPPT 100 mixed, which was held at Soavina Atmosphère. Twelve teams competed in this high-level tournament, and it was the pair of Corentin Haëner and Fitia Robinson who took the victory. In a thrilling final, Corentin and Fitia dominated Marin Fontaine and Miarana Robinson in two sets, winning 6/1 and 6/4. In the semi-final, the champion team beat Toavina Ratsimandresy and Sariaka Radilofe with a score of 2/6, 6/4, 10/6, after a tight match. For their part, Marin and Miarana eliminated Tokiana Ratsimandresy and Fitia Rakotondramboa with a score of 6/1, 4/6, 10/7. The small final also offered its share of suspense and high intensity. Tokiana Ratsimandresy and Fitia Rakotondramboa won third place against Toavina Ratsimandresy and Sariaka Radilofe. The atmosphere was there, as well as the level. I even think that it was the most high-level mixed tournament that we have had since the beginning of MPPT because all the big names were there, except for a few. Despite the school holidays and the absence of some big names, the tournament was a great success, largely thanks to the impeccable welcome from Soavina and the support of our partners Orange and XXL “, says Gary Ah-Waye, co-manager of the circuit.
