In addition to an ergonomic keyboard and new earphones, HP is also launching a rechargeable Qi-compatible mouse and a wireless numeric keypad.
At CES 2024, manufacturers traditionally show all the latest gadgets with which they want to amaze in the new year. HP does it with the brand new Specter x360, but also launches a series of interesting new accessories on the market for every PC user.
The HP 690 is a rechargeable Bluetooth wireless mouse that you can charge via a Qi charger. A ‘wireless’ wireless mouse… Along with the mouse is the HP 430 Programmable Bluetooth Numeric Keyboard with Mechanical Keys. Anyone who prefers a numeric keyboard on their laptop should no longer pay attention to this when choosing a new laptop and putting it in the laptop bag.
Other accessories include the HP USB-C Travel Hub G3, which lets you convert a laptop’s USB-C port to 2x USB-A, 1x USB-C, and 1x HDMI. There’s also the HP 400, a wired keyboard with backlit keys.
The HP 690 wireless mouse costs 54.90 euros excluding VAT. The HP 430 numeric keyboard costs the equivalent of 45.70 euros excluding VAT, just like the HP 400. The HP USB-C Travel Hub G3 costs the equivalent of 64 euros excluding VAT. All accessories are now available in the US. It is not yet known when they will be available in Europe and at what prices in local euros.
HP 960 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard
For the first time, HP launches a wireless ergonomic keyboard. Under the name HP 960 you get a split keyboard where you can raise the palm rest for an optimal typing position. A separate wireless numeric keypad is included in the box (not the HP 430).
There is a USB dongle in the box, but you can also connect the keyboard via Bluetooth. The keyboard offers 20 configurable keys. The HP 960 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard will be available in the United States from April and will cost 109.70 euros excluding VAT. It is not yet known when the keyboard will come to us, whether Azerty or not, and at what price.
Poly Voyager Free 20
HP releases new wireless earbuds from Poly. The Poly Voyager Free 20 is cheaper than the luxurious Voyager Free 60+ with a recommended retail price of 137 euros excl. VAT. For that price you get ANC and a box that supports wireless charging.
The earbuds last up to eight hours on a single charge. The box itself can charge the earbuds up to 2.5 times before needing to charge the set. The earphones will be available in the US in May. It is not yet clear when the Poly Voyager Free 20 will arrive in Europe and at what price.
