Actress Halle Bailey (23) has announced the birth of her first child – without having previously confirmed a pregnancy. As she announced on her social networks, she and her boyfriend DDG her (26 years old) are happy to have a boy. She also revealed the baby’s name.
Halle Bailey’s son’s name is Halo
The “Little Mermaid” actress announced the news on her Instagram page. She also posted a photo of her hand holding a small hand with a gold bracelet. The name “Halo” is emblazoned on the jewel. This means halo. Bailey wrote: “Even though the new year only started a few days ago, the greatest thing 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son. Welcome to the world, my halo. The world really wants to meet you.
Several celebrity colleagues also congratulated her on the sweet news. Actress Halle Berry (57) wrote: “Congratulations, Halle. Welcome to motherhood and welcome to the world, little Halo.” Rapper Nicki Minaj (41) commented: “Welcome to Earth, Halo. We’ve been waiting for you. Congratulations, mama!”
Halle Bailey has always ignored pregnancy rumors
Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DDG have been together for almost two years. Their relationship became Instagram official in March 2022, when the Zooted Music record label founder posted a post on the R&B singer’s birthday. The actress is private about her personal life. In recent weeks there had been several speculations about a possible pregnancy. Both, however, defended themselves and asked to refrain from such speculation.
In May 2023, however, in an interview with the industry magazine “People” she gave a small insight into the relationship and answered the question if her boyfriend was a real Prince Charming: “Yes. That’s what I would say.” She continued: “I think the best thing about young love is that you can continue to find yourself on this journey of loving someone else. And you discover new parts of yourself and perhaps things about your heart that you hadn’t noticed before.”
