Free theatre in July: “Parto” at the Británico

Under the direction of Analucia Rodriguez y Carla Valdiviathis work of autofiction is presented in the format of a stage conference and will feature the performances of Brayan Pinto, Marianne Carassa and Daniela Zea.

“Parto” explores the deeper meaning of the term, looking beyond the biological link to understand the emotional connection between mothers and children. Through a combination of projections, family archives, music and elements of fiction, the work invites the viewer to move between tenderness and rawness, pain and laughter.

Carla Valdivia, director and playwright, comments on the presentation: “It is a play full of honesty and tenderness. It makes you laugh and touches your heart because the stories of mothers and children are universal.”

• Thursday, July 25, 7:30 pm at Alfredo Mendiola Avenue 1200, Los Jardines, San Martin de Porres.
