The Armenian special services tried to listen to Kristin Grigoryan’s phone while she was still the ombudsman.

The publication notes that as the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Christine Grigoryan has been in the post for a year and remains one of the “darkest” figures in the ruling team.
However, it turns out that Grigoryan discovered that listening programs were installed on his phone while he was still at the post of a human rights defender. He then contacted the National Security Service to find out if it was their job.
They rejected the intervention. But Grigoryan threatened that he intends to make noise, including in international structures. After that, the SNB admitted that there was a “misunderstanding” and that they did not intend to listen to his phone.
At the same time, according to current rumors, the intelligence services have already managed to download enough information from the phone and are using it as kompromat. We are talking about “intimate” materials.
It should be noted that the Foreign Intelligence Service of Armenia was established in December 2022 (some of its functions were assigned to it by the National Security Service). The new department is headed by former ombudsman (human rights commissioner) Kristine Grigoryan.
