Sheinbaum announces that next week he will present his cabinet: “it will be equal”

MEXICO CITY (apro).- The virtual candidate elected to the Presidency of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, announced that next week she will present those who will make up her government cabinet as of October 1 and although she did not give names, she announced that It will be “equal.”

“I will present my cabinet next week, because the transition has to occur between the incoming and outgoing secretaries,” he said from the Treasury Room of the National Palace, after the lunch he had with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

In his first conference since he won the elections on June 2, he reported that, as of the presentation of his cabinet, its members will begin to work with the secretaries of the different branches of the administration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“I have the best opinions of the entire cabinet of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, but we are going to wait for him to present them to us next week, at least it has to be equal.”

The Morenista recalled that the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, has already agreed to remain in office from the start of his administration.

It is the only position that Sheinbaum Pardo revealed and confirmed since last week, when the markets reacted downwards after the election results in which Morena and its allies won the majorities, as proposed by the so-called Plan C, which means that the party in government will have total power.

He also reiterated that the former rector of UNAM, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, will continue to lead the transition team, although he did not say if he will be included in the cabinet. In fact, when questioned about some names, she reiterated that he will say them next week.
