“Happy and curious”: Camilo and Evaluna Montaner confirming the birth of their daughter Indigo

The Colombian singer Camilo and the Venezuelan artist Evaluna Montaner confirmed this Saturday the birth of their first-born daughter Índigo, a “happy and curious” girl.

«Indigo was born. God was present in every second of the birth in our home. “She is a happy and curious girl,” wrote the singer of “Vida de Rico” and ” Ropa Cara ” in an Instagram post in which they shared photos of the birth and the baby’s legs.

The Colombian artist, who also published a video playing a song to his daughter on the guitar, thanked his wife and said that she is “the strongest, most virtuous and brave woman who has ever walked on this planet.”

“All my respect, my service and my dedication to the queen of this house,” Camilo added.

He also thanked the “messages”, “prayers” and “bursts of love and light” that his fans have sent him for the arrival of his first-born.

In October of last year, Camilo and Evaluna presented the song “Índigo”, which the Colombian said then is “a word that represents a lot” for them and with which they announced the pregnancy of the Venezuelan singer.

“It is not just the name of a color, which we love, but a presence of light that has been in humanity for millennia,” he explained.

For his part, the Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner, father of Evaluna and grandfather of Índigo, assured that his granddaughter “is beautiful” and that “God has been good again.”
