MEXICO CITY (apro).- During the June 1 show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Adele confronted one of the attendees, because he made a comment against the LGBTTIQ+ community. The singer had no qualms about briefly stopping her performance to deal with the situation.
While the English performer was performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a person in the audience shouted: “Pride sucks.” It was at that moment when Adele, who was sitting in front of the piano next to one of her musicians, stopped the concert.
“Did you just say pride sucks? You came to my damn show just to say that pride sucks? You’re stupid? Don’t be so ridiculous. If you don’t have anything good to say, shut up, okay?” the singer told the person who shouted from the audience. In a matter of minutes, the video soon went viral on social networks.
Adele has long supported the LGBTTIQ+ community. Last year, during a performance in Las Vegas, she celebrated Pride Month by wearing a rainbow flag dress. “I’ll celebrate all month long,” she told fans. “Happy Pride!” The singer also waved a Pride flag during her concert in London’s Hyde Park in 2022.
