Fires in Israel after Hezbollah rocket and drone attacks

Although most of the fires were now under control, emergency services were working hard to prevent further damage

During the morning of Tuesday, June 4, a series of fires worried the northern Israelcaused by rockets and airplanes remote control launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon.

More of 30 fire brigades were deployed to control the flames, which forced the closure of several roads in the region of Galilee. Despite the intensity of the fires, no direct threats to human lives or homes were reported at the time.

Las Israel Defense Forces They collaborated in the extinguishing efforts and reported six reservists with minor injuries due to smoke inhalation, who were taken to a hospital. The Ziv Medical Center in Safed treated five more citizens with minor injuries from the same cause.

For his part, the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting with senior security officials to assess the situation in northern Israel.

Lebanon increases tension with Israel

Since October 8, Hezbollah has attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border almost daily, in support of Gaza. These attacks have caused the death of 10 civilians and 14 Israeli soldiers and reservists. In response, Israel has attacked Hezbollah forces, resulting in the deaths of 328 members of the terrorist group.
