A Poignant story is going viral on social networks after a young mother shows the photograph of her husband meeting her newborn baby in the hospitala moment that brings joy to dozens of families, however, in this case things are very different.

It all started when Beth Turner, 23, decided to share on her social networks what would be the first, but also the last photo of her husband George Fenlonalso 23 years old, with her daughter, who had just been born.
And it is that Beth had to give birth to her baby while George was on life support after he was seriously injured after being attacked during a night out in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK.
The young mother was pregnant at the time of the attack and gave birth to her daughter just two weeks before George had to be taken offline, because his body did not respond to the doctors’ attempts to bring him back to life.
The photograph in question was captured by George’s mother, Melissa, who managed to capture the heartbreaking moment that shows the new father meeting his daughter for the first time. at the hospital just before they turned off the life support machine.
The baby was named Clara Georgia, in honor of her father.
Beth wanted Clara to meet George and spend some time with him. So they had a cesarean section and she spent a couple of weeks in the hospital with him, where she saw him every day.
“The hospital did a lot, we also have little handprints of Clara and George’s hands together,” Melissa revealed.
The attack against the young father occurred in August 2023, when police were called at around 2am to reports of an assault on The Strand in Blackpool.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police discovered that George, who worked as a waiter, had suffered serious head injuries.
He was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital and put on a life support machine, but died tragically in hospital on November 22, three months after the attack.
An autopsy found the cause of death to be complications from blunt head trauma.. For this crime, a 26-year-old man was accused and is awaiting trial.

Meanwhile, Revolution Bar, where George worked, will continue the celebrations into the evening and create a cocktail in his name.
All proceeds will go to Elliot’s Place, a local charity dedicated to supporting young men with their mental health and wellbeing.
