His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received a cable of thanks from His Excellency Mr. Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, in which he was elevated to the high office of His Majesty the King, in his name and on behalf of all workers in the Kingdom. Bahrain extends its highest thanks, appreciation and great gratitude on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, which falls on May 1 of each year.
In his telegram, the Minister of Labor praised His Majesty’s diligent attention and follow-up to his fellow workers, and his constant keenness to sponsor Labor Day in the Kingdom, celebrate the values of work and production, and honor distinguished workers in all fields of production.
The Minister of Labor affirmed His Majesty’s constant support for workers’ rights, enhancing their labor gains, creating promising and quality job opportunities for them, and accelerating the pace of employing national talent in private sector establishments. He praised, on this occasion, His Majesty’s pardon of a number of convicts on the occasion of the silver jubilee of His Majesty assuming the reins of government, based on the principle His Majesty, may God support him, was keen to take care of the affairs of the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and secure a decent life for them to start a new life and integrate them into society in a positive spirit.
The Minister of Labor also praised the follow-up and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in providing job opportunities for the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, appropriate training for them and providing all their needs, pledging His Majesty the King to move forward as production parties towards more Cooperation and solidarity to support the stability and growth of the labor market in the Kingdom, maintain the provision of decent job opportunities for citizens, and create a work environment that encourages giving and excellence to contribute to the renaissance of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister of Labor concluded his telegram by praying to God Almighty to preserve His Majesty the King as an asset to this dear country, and to grant His Majesty the blessing of health and wellness to continue leading the comprehensive development process and achieve more national achievements under his wise leadership.
