When asked if this possible commission will include the siege against former president García, the parliamentarian stated that they will address this important issue in relation to Domingo Pérez, Vela Barba and the IDL Reporteros activist, Gustavo Gorriti.

Meanwhile, congresswoman Nilza Chacón (FP) agreed that there should be an investigation into the suicide of the former APRA president, but this task should be carried out by the Oversight Commission, according to the point of view of the Fujimori parliamentarian.

“I have not properly evaluated the central issue of the formation of this commission, but we always have our bench agreement. We haven’t talked about it yet. If there is something dark, the MP would have to do it, we have a separate Inspection Commission.
