The Consortium is approaching La Laguna

It is a matter of weeks until The Consorcio returns to the Lagunera Region.

The Spanish group will return to perform at the Nazas Theater within the framework of its “De Eres tú a El Consorcio” tour.

At 7:00 p.m. the recital will begin in which classics such as Eres tú, Tómame o déjame or Secretaria will be played.

As you may remember, in May 2023, the group performed in the same venue before a large audience.

Amaya, Estíbaliz and Iñaki Uranga, as well as Carlos Zubiaga make up El Consorcio, whose romantic music has been passed down from generation to generation.

From August to October 1993 they recorded their first album, What never dies, title of a radio soap opera of the same name from the 1950s.

According to the artists’ biography, this work, which was followed by Listener’s Requests and Double Program, was published in May 1994 and was directed and produced by Rosa León and produced by Hispavox.

In 1998, the artists joined Sony and recorded their fourth album, which they titled Cuba.

It included 14 traditional songs from the Caribbean island, which were recorded in Miami, London and Madrid.

With such a plaque they visited Mexico and other places in Latin America for the second time.

Subsequently, El Consorcio recorded more album productions.

The members of El Consorcio know very well that Torreón is part of their history, as Iñaki Uranga made it known in a past interview with El Siglo de Torreón.

“Torreón is a land that has given us a lot of satisfaction. We also have many Lagunero friends and a lot of beautiful memories of their land,” he said.
