For the coming Monday, April 15 at 6 pm, in the meeting room of the municipal council of Ioannina, the Board of Directors of the ASDSA (or FODSA) has been convened by the Mayor of Ioannina, Thomas Begas, and from this process will emerge the successor administration structure that will replace the present bureau and Nikos Kalantzis and Thomas Bega, for the positions of president and vice president respectively.
The processes for the preparation of this electoral battle have been kept at a low pace until today and only the name of Nikos Georgakos, Mayor of Preveza, had long been involved in the scenario of those interested.
Also, Tatiana Kalogianni, who participates in the new Board of Directors of FODSA with the consent and proposal of Bega to the municipal council of Ioannina, appeared as interested in the new administration and today, now, it is clear that the former deputy governor has defined her goals for the position of vice president and not president.
In the last few days, a front started to form around the Mayor of Zirou, Giorgos Zygouri, who has the ability to rally both center-left and center-right local authorities, something that the Mayor of Preveza cannot do in particular. With the existing data therefore, two Mayors from the Regional Unit of Preveza will compete for the position of the president of FODSA.
How is voting done?
The election process takes place with three separate ballots, one for the president, one for the vice president and one for the members of the presidium and their deputies.
The one who collects the most votes is elected.
