Mayor Román Alberto Cepeda González reported that during this administration, Torreón has been the city that applies the most investment per capita to public security, with 18.3 of its budget, which this year means 650 million pesos for the purchase of units , equipment, intelligence and counterintelligence systems, in addition to the training and continuous training of the elements.

He highlighted that in 2022 and 2023 260 million were applied, which is important “because the difference between how it was received and how the city is doing has to do with an order of indicators, Torreón now has a privileged position, also thanks to the strategy of the state government,” he indicated.
