Homecoming Update, Kalikangkung Toll Gate Crowded Smoothly

JAKARTA – The traffic situation at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) at 19.48 WIB, Wednesday (10/4/2024) was busy and smooth. There were no significant queues for vehicles leaving or entering the GT located at Km 414.

Quoting data from the Ketupat Candi Operation Integrated Post in GT Kalikangkung, the number of vehicles passing per hour has indeed decreased. However, the number of vehicles passing per hour is still fluctuating.

At least, number 512 occurred at 06.00-07.00 WIB. This number increases during the day and evening.

The highest occurred at 15.00-16.00 WIB, namely 2,334 vehicles passing per hour. During that time, the number of vehicles passing was 13,786.

It is known that since Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 12.00 WIB, GT Kalikangkung has resumed serving trips from east to west. Previously, the GT was only passed by vehicles from west to east due to the one way implementation.

Meanwhile, for data on vehicles entering Kalikangkung GT or heading east to west, from 06.00-16.00 the majority is in the hundreds of vehicles passing per hour.

The highest occurred at 11.00-12.00 WIB, reaching 1,131 vehicles passing per hour. In total, in the time period mentioned, 7,895 vehicles entered Kalikangkung GT.
