BI Allocates 500 Money Exchange Packages with a Maximum of IDR 4 Million at the MNC Media Complex

JAKARTA – Bank Indonesia (BI) opened a mobile cash service for exchanging money at the MNC Media Kebon Sirih complex, Thursday (4/4/2024). This activity is included in the Vibrant Rupiah Ramadan and Blessings of Idul Fitri BI (SERAMBI) 2024 program.

“In the framework of Ramadan and Idul Fitri this time, we are carrying out various activities including mobile cash at the MNC Media complex. We are giving MNC friends the opportunity to exchange their money for new money,” said BI Money Management Department Director Faris Budiawan at the MNC complex Media, Jakarta, Thursday (4/4/2024).

Faris said that the SERAMBI 2024 activity was part of BI’s task to distribute money fit for circulation (ULE) to the public.

On this occasion, Faris, who was accompanied by MNC Group Corporate Secretary Director Syafril Nasution and IDX Channel Chief Operation Officer (COO) Masirom, said that for the activities held at the MNC Media complex, BI allocated 500 packages with a maximum exchange value of IDR 4 million, in various Rupiah denomination value.

“That’s the maximum, meaning friends can exchange less than that, for example you only need Rp. 2 million or Rp. 1 million and we can serve it. The maximum is Rp. 4 million for one exchange,” said Faris.

Based on monitoring at the location, even though the queue opened at 10.00 WIB, MNC Group employees had started crowding the MNC Media complex in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, since 07.00 WIB.
