RCB has home advantage at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

On any given day during the summer, the energy level at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium can act as a catalyst for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Talking about the atmosphere, the franchise can stand at par with Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Despite the trophy-less years, it is still loved by die-hard fans due to the decibel levels in the stadium being intimidating on match days. Perhaps as intimidating as Chepauk when it clears its throat when MS Dhoni takes guard or Wankhede when Rohit Sharma walks in.
But the Chinnaswamy Stadium is nowhere close to being an intimidating place for the opposition from a cricketing point of view. Thanks to the venue’s history of offering flat decks to go along with short boundaries on all sides, this is a stadium where opposition teams take to the field fully aware that they have a level playing chance. As RCB enters the 17th season of the Indian Premier League, their win percentage at the Chinnaswamy Stadium stands at 46.51. To put this in perspective, Chennai’s win percentage at Chepauk is 70.96, Mumbai’s is 62.33 at Wankhede, Sunrisers Hyderabad is 62% at Uppal and Kolkata Knight Riders is 57.31% at Eden Gardens.
