In Azerbaijan, it is proposed to pay labor pension in the amount of 70 percent of the relevant security costs to military personnel.
Publika.az reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the law “On Labor Pensions”.
According to the new change, it is proposed to pay a labor pension in the amount of 70 percent of the relevant insurance costs to military personnel who are disabled for other reasons.
This change will cover 186 people and the annual additional financial burden will be 112 thousand manats.
It should be recalled that among disabled military personnel, persons with disabilities not related to the performance of official duties receive 60 percent of the corresponding insurance costs for 81-100 percent impairment of body functions, 55 percent for persons with disabilities determined due to 61-80 percent impairment of body functions, 31 percent of body functions. – 35 percent of the labor pension is paid to persons whose disability has been determined due to 60 percent violation.
While there is a 20 percent difference between the other rates, there is only a 5 percent difference between the cost of providing a pension for persons with 61-80 percent impairment of body functions and 31-60 percent disability. At the same time, if military servicemen with war-related disabilities are determined to be disabled due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions, 100 percent of the relevant insurance costs are paid, and 80 percent for impairment of 61-80 percent. Here, there is a difference of 20 percent between the cost of insurance and the amount of pension calculated for individuals.
In order to apply justice and a similar approach, it is proposed to pay a labor pension in the amount of 70 percent of the relevant security costs to military personnel who are disabled for other reasons.
