In Kishoreganj’s Bhairab, six members of the Kishore gang have been arrested along with weapons involved in the clash between the two sides over giving ha ha reactions on Facebook.

The clash took place at Bhairab Kamalpur bus stand on Tuesday (April 2) morning. Later six members of Kishore gang were arrested by RAB-14 (CPC-2) Bhairav ​​Camp.

The arrested are Nayan Mia (30), son of deceased Nurul Haque of Mor area, Kamalpur Muslim, Arian Islam (19), son of Muhammad Ali of Madhyapara, Kamalpur, Jihad Sarkar (19), son of Farooq Sarkar of Sarkar Bari, Hedayet Ullah (19), son of Mohibullah Sarkar, Ripon of Manikdi village. Mia’s son Sourav Ahmed (24) and Abir Hasan (22), son of deceased Jahangir Alam of Banshgari village.

According to RAB sources, tension arose between the two sides at the Kamalpur local bus stand in Bhairab town on Monday (April 1) at around 9:30 pm based on the Ha Ha reaction on Facebook. Later there was a clash. Meanwhile, the members of Kimo’s gang started vandalizing the shopkeepers and throwing stones and bricks. A few policemen were injured in the brick and stone pelting. Police fired eight rounds to control the situation.

After the police firing, the atmosphere in the area became more heated. RAB-14 Bhairav ​​Camp went to the spot after receiving the news. Later, RAB arrested six members of the youth gang after conducting a search. Meanwhile, two domestic weapons were seized from them.

In this regard, the company captain of Bhairab RAB camp, Lieutenant Fahim Faisal, said that the police have filed a case against the six arrested. Intelligence surveillance is continuing to catch the rest of the accused in this incident.
