XONACATLÁN.– 58 people were injured, of which two were taken to a hospital when the tarp and the structures that supported it collapsed during the closing of the campaign of the candidate for municipal president from Morena, Alfredo González.
Minutes earlier in Ixtlahuaca, a similar problem was reported, leaving three people with injuries.
In Xonacatlán, according to neighbors during the Morenista event, a strong wind began to be felt that caused the tarp to lift and tear off the poles that supported it.

Elements from the SSEM and the Emergency Service of the State of Mexico, state and municipal Civil Protection, as well as the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) arrived at the scene to provide assistance.
According to preliminary data, 58 injured people were recorded, of which 56 were treated at the scene for minor injuries and two more were transferred for hospital care: one of them with a nervous breakdown to the municipal hospital of Xonacatlán and the other to the hospital. Likewise, it was reported that during the closing of the campaign of the candidate for Ixtlahuaca, Guadalupe Díaz, the strong wind caused the tarp to rise and fall on people, leaving at least 20 people covered by it, with three people with bruises.
Civil Protection brigades from the municipalities of Ixtlahuaca, Jocotitlán and Almoloya de Juárez went to the scene; elements of the SUEM, Mexican Red Cross and elements of municipal public security.
