56 Colonels Broken Stars After Transferring TNI Commanders in Early April 2024

JAKARTA – TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto carried out transfers, rotations and promotions of 257 high-ranking TNI officers (Pati). Of this number, 56 stars broke because they received promotions.

Based on data collected by SINDOnews on Friday (12/4/2024), the promotion to position 56 was stated in two Decrees from the TNI Commander issued on April 1 2024 and April 5 2024.

First, TNI Commander’s Decree Number Kep/382/IV/2024 dated April 1 2024 concerning dismissal from and appointment to positions within the Indonesian National Army.

Second, Decree Number Kep/401/IV/2024 dated 5 April 2024 concerning Dismissal from and Appointment to Positions within the Indonesian National Army.

With these new duties and responsibilities, TNI middle officers (Pamen) from the three dimensions of the Army (AD), Navy (AL) and Navy (AL) will receive a promotion one level higher.

They will hold the rank of Brigadier General (Brigjen) for the TNI Army, First Admiral (Laksma) for the TNI Navy, and First Marshal (Marsma) for the TNI AU.

The following are the names of officers who broke their stars after being rotated by the TNI Commander:
