5-year-old girl suffers horrific head injury

The tragedy occurred at a swimming pool in Gelendzhik, where a five-year-old girl was playing, and another child dropped a “bomb” of water on her from a hotel window, Liter.kz reports with reference to SHOT.

It is reported that the Muscovite and her four children arrived for a holiday in Krasnodar Krai on August 10. The family was relaxing by the pool at their hotel. There was a group of adults with children nearby.

“Their 13-14 year old boy filled a balloon with water, went up to the third floor and threw the bomb down. It hit the girl right in the head. The little girl fell and hit her head on the tile. The balloon burst,” the woman said.

According to her, two hours later the girl began to vomit, and together with her mother they went to the hospital in Gelendzhik. There the child was diagnosed with a craniocerebral injury, concussion and contusion of the soft tissues of the head. Now the child will be transported to Moscow and undergo long-term treatment.

As her mother says, her daughter has asthma and poor eyesight, so after such a vacation her health could get much worse. She asks to punish the boy’s parents, who did not keep an eye on their son. They simply apologized and continued their vacation in Gelendzhik.

The victims filed a police report.
