In keeping with the police, a tractor loaded with bricks used to be hit through a Dhaka-bound Al-Arafa Paribahan bus close to Shaistanagar of the upazila round 7 am. Borhan (28) son of Gias Uddin of Lakshmipur village of Itabata Sramik Upazila and Mohammad Ali (32) son of Syed Ali of Sadar Upazila of Jamalpur have been killed when the tractor overturned.
Then again, Dolly Akhtar (30), a passenger in a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw collided with a Dhaka-bound Arniban Paribahan bus close to Daulatpur bus stand at the Dhaka-Chittagong freeway and died at the spot. The 2 injured passengers and the driving force have been taken to Dhaka Clinical Faculty Clinic the place Giana Akhtar (11) and Jahanara Begum (60) died after midday.
