4.5 million requests for World Cup tickets

FIFA announced that it has received 4.5 million requests to buy tickets for the 2026 World Cup matches, in the pre -sale of credit card holders from their care.

“FIFA” explained that the requests came from 216 countries and regions during the 10 -day application period, led by the three host countries, the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The other seven countries were the most applications for ticket requests: Germany, England, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Italy.

The President of “FIFA”, Swiss Gianni Infantino, described this request as strong evidence of interest in the championship, which expanded to include 48 teams and 104 games, describing it as the largest, most comprehensive and exciting event.

Those wishing to purchase tickets for group stage matches will be informed starting from $ 60 from September 29, with a time period to be given to them, starting from October 1. “FIFA” added that this deadline does not guarantee the launch of tickets for sale.

As for the other tickets, other stages will be determined to launch, before and after the group stage draw scheduled for December 5 in Washington.

So far, 15 teams, under the leadership of Argentina, have qualified for the title, along with the three host countries that are involved automatically. FIFA also announced the launch of a safe platform for re -selling tickets.
