3320 heaps of rice got here thru Benapole port in 25 days –

Within the final 25 days, 3,320 tonnes of rice was once imported from India during the Benapole land port in Jessore. On Thursday (December 12), 105 heaps of rice arrived within the final 3 vehicles during the port.

Abu Taher, income officer of Benapole Checkpost Shipment Department, mentioned that 8 firms, together with uploading corporate Mahbubul Alam Meals Merchandise, Ork Buying and selling and Sardar Enterprises, import some of these rice thru Benapole port.

He additionally mentioned that when two years, from November 17 to December 12 at 10 pm, 3 thousand 320 heaps of rice had been imported in 97 vehicles.

Prior to this, in a letter signed by means of the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Meals, Lutfar Rahman, 92 firms had been allowed to import rice privately.
