JAKARTA – Tariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid held a wedding reception at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, Friday (7/26/2024). The couple officially married at the same place and location in the morning.

The kebaya top worn by the 22-year-old woman blended beautifully with the bottom of the typical Minang woven fabric in gold shades. The appearance of Aaliyah’s wedding reception dress was even more luxurious with the suntiang that adorned her head.

Meanwhile, Thariq wore a suit and cawek, which are loose pants worn by men in Minang. The clothes worn by Fuji’s ex-boyfriend also have shades of brown and gold.

Cawek itself is always paired with sandang or a belt by tying it to the cawek. Cawek and sandang are always an inseparable combination in Minang traditional reception attire.

On the other hand, the 25-year-old man completed his appearance in this happy moment with deta or destar. This is a head covering used by the groom during the wedding procession with Minang customs.
