Rottweilers are intelligent, devoted and loyal. Because of this, they are very popular and loved by dog lovers.
Unfortunately, their protective nature towards their owners has caused a number of tragedies, making them the second most dangerous dog breed in the world.
They can even “misunderstand” some friendly gestures as threats, and immediately cause serious damage to someone if they are caught off guard.

According to statistics from Dogacademythis breed was responsible for 45 deaths from 2005-2017, and is known to be particularly aggressive towards strangers and visitors to their homes.
The Rottweiler’s bite is extremely powerful, reaching 328 psi, which is even stronger than a Pitbull’s. With such a bite force, they can easily break a victim’s arm with just one bite.
The size of this breed is also a factor that makes them especially dangerous. Accordingly, adult male Rottweilers can be up to 70 cm tall and weigh 54 kg.

They are also a breed widely used in police and military units due to their keen hearing, intelligence, large size, and ability to overwhelm opponents.
Unfortunately, the popularity of this breed also makes them one of the most dangerous dog breeds in the world.
