The court has sent three more KNF members to jail in connection with the bank robbery, attack on the mosque, robbery of money and weapons in Bandarban’s Ruma. 58 people including 57 KNF members have been sent to jail.
On the other hand, Kuki-Chin National Front chief Nathan Bom’s wife has been transferred from Ruma to Lalmonirhat.
Bandarban Senior Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Nazmul Hochen sent them to jail on Thursday (April 11).
Additional Superintendent of Police Hossain. Raihan Kazemi and Civil Surgeon. Mahabubur Rahman confirmed the matter.
The arrested are Lal Rin Tloang Bom (20), daughter of Lal Cheo Bom of Edenpara area of Ruma Sadar Union, Bhan Nuam Thang Bom (37), son of Ngundang Bom and Bhan Lal Thang Bom (45), son of Lal Muan Bom.
Court Police Inspector AK Fazlu Haque said that they have been sent to jail on the orders of the court.
Chairman of Ruma Sadar Union Shaimong Marma said that the wife of KNF chief Nathan Bom has been transferred from Ruma Upazila Health Complex to Lalmonirhat.
Additional Superintendent of Police Hossain. Raihan Kazemi said that three people were arrested and sent to court today in five cases filed in this incident. The joint operation is ongoing.
Bandarban Civil Surgeon. Mahabubur Rahman said that nurse Lelsom Kim Bom has been transferred from Ruma Upazila Health Complex to Lalmonirhat Upazila Health Complex.
However, the civil surgeon does not know whether Lelsomkim Bom is the wife of KNF chief Nathan Bom or not.
