3 arrested with four stolen vehicles

Moradabad, The joint team of Moradabad police station, Civil Lines Police and SOG has arrested four stolen vehicles along with two people from Bareilly and one of their associates resident of Moradabad. These people used to go as scrap dealers. After purchasing the vehicles at cheap prices, their number plates and chassis numbers were used in stolen vehicles and the old purchased vehicles were sold as scrap.

Then they used to list the stolen vehicles and sell them at expensive prices. Arif Hussain and Satish Kumar of Bareilly were active as masterminds in this work, while their third associate Bharat Singh, resident of Moradabad, used to steal vehicles as per their plan. Police have also recovered pistol and cartridges from these accused.

While disclosing the case, SSP Hemraj Meena said that three accused have been arrested from Civil Line area. Four vehicles, a pistol and cartridges have been recovered from them. All three accused are vicious people. It is said that they used to buy old accidental vehicles and sell them for scrap, while they used the documents, registration numbers and number plates of the vehicles in stolen vehicles and later sold them in the market. SSP said that apart from these three accused, there are Pramod Yadav of Aligarh and Satish of Delhi who are absconding. The police is busy searching for them.

Stolen vehicles could not be traced because their chassis number and vehicle number were changed. According to the SSP, all these accused are vicious people and cases have been registered against them in the past in many districts. At present, the police have arrested the three accused and have also recovered 4 four-wheelers, a pistol and cartridges from them. While the search for two absconding accused is going on. Police believe that with the arrest of these accused, the incidents of chari will reduce there.
