258 thousand 932 lira traffic fines for 89 drivers in Kırıkkale

In inspections carried out by police teams in Kırıkkale, 89 drivers were fined a total of 258 thousand 932 liras, while 16 motorcycles were banned from traffic. Some motorcycle drivers who were given traffic fines posed in front of the cameras with their receipts, saying “Thank God for our state.”

Kırıkkale Provincial Police Department continues its strict inspections of motorcycle drivers throughout the city. Teams, who are working intensively against drivers who endanger traffic and disturb the environment, check whether various rules such as helmet use, plate and registration checks, and exhaust noise level are being followed. Drivers who do not comply with the rules are subject to penalties. Motorcycles that disturb the environment by making especially loud noises and exhibit dangerous driving are banned from traffic.

In the inspections carried out by the Public Security and Traffic Branch teams in the Yahşihan district, 321 people’s IDs were checked and 115 vehicles were examined. During the inspections, a total of 258 thousand 932 liras in fines were imposed on 89 drivers who did not comply with the rules. 16 motorcycles that violated traffic rules were banned from traffic.

“Thanks to our state”

During the inspections at the enforcement point in Seyrantepe Neighborhood, Muhammed Mutlu was fined 20 thousand liras after various technical deficiencies and equipment that were against the rules were detected on his motorcycle. Mutlu, who said, “I was fined 20 thousand liras, thanks to our state,” stated that he was fined due to violations arising from the installation, relay, flashing light and light bulb on his motorcycle. Mutlu, along with other motorcycle drivers who received traffic tickets, posed in front of the cameras with their ticket receipts.
