25 Players Called Up for National Futsal Team Training Camp

JAKARTA – Indonesian National Futsal Team will start a training camp in Malang on September 1, 2024 as part of the preparation for the 2024 AFF Futsal Championship. Head coach Hector Souto called up 25 players to join the training camp.

Centralization of training This will take place at Unggul Sport Center for approximately 2 months. This training camp is an important opportunity for the players to show their best abilities before the final composition of the team is determined.

Hector Souto, who is currently the tactician of the Indonesian National Futsal Team, expressed optimism about the potential of the squad called up this time.

“The 25 players called up consist of a combination of talented young players and experienced players who have shown consistent performance in the Pro Futsal League. These players will undergo intensive training sessions covering technical, tactical, and physical aspects, as well as trial matches to measure their readiness,” he said, Monday (26/8/2024).

The 2024 AFF Futsal Championship will take place in Thailand in November 2024. Indonesia is determined to achieve the best results in this tournament. The training camp in Malang is part of intensive preparation to achieve this target.

The community and futsal supporters throughout Indonesia are expected to provide full support to the Indonesian National Futsal Team on their journey to glory at the 2024 AFF Futsal Championship.
