Although the third round of the Super League was supposed to be played on April 28, why did the game finally start, why is the third round match starting on April 30 instead of April 28?
When asked about the reason, CCDM coordinator Ali Hossain told Jago News, ‘Pre-preparation camp of the Tigers has started from April 26 before the T20 series against Zimbabwe at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. Which will continue till April 28. In view of the request of the clubs, we (CCDM) have decided to conduct the Super League match on April 30 with a one-day break after the preparation camp.
Ali Hossain also said that after the finalization of the 14-man team from the initial team of 17 people, those who will be outside can play the Super League for their own team. The camp will end in the evening on April 28. Those cricketers who will be out of the main team, will be able to come to Dhaka on the morning flight of April 29 and play the Super League for their team the next day, April 30.
It is good to say that 10 cricketers of Abahani Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Liton Das, Tawhid Hrisday, Afif Hossain Dhrub, Zaker Ali Anik, Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam, Mohammad Saifuddin, Tanjim Saqib and Tanveer Ahmed, Prime Bank Sheikh Mehdi, Parvez are in the camp of 17 people. Emon and Hasan Mahmud, Tanjid Tamim and Rishad Hossain of Shinepukur and Mahmudullah Riyad of Mohammedan.
Now during the initial phase of the camp in Chittagong, it is difficult to field Abahani’s XI in the Super League. Shakib Al Hasan, Mostafizur Rahman and Soumya Sarkar are likely to be included in the initial camp of 17 people. Then at least 4 of Abahani’s 10 can go out of the main team, all of them can play in the Super League.
