At the University Hospital of Ioannina, a 17-year-old from the Hospital of Corfu is being treated after a bloody fight that took place at noon on Wednesday in a square on the island.
The fight was between a 14-year-old middle school student and a 17-year-old high school student. According to eyewitnesses, their verbal fight ended in a bloody attack, when one of them took out a knife and attacked the other.
A middle-aged man and a 17-year-old student who went to separate them were also injured.
The perpetrator was located and arrested by the Police.
The 17-year-old who was injured by the attack was taken to the Corfu Hospital where he was given first aid.
Along the way, his health condition was assessed and it was deemed necessary to transfer him to the University Hospital. So EKAB proceeded to airlift the student.
