The poaching of protected animals continues. The 147 turtles came from the Androy area, in Beloha. They were discovered in Toliara, Mahavatsy 2 village, when they passed through there. Immediately, there was an initiative and the two people who were responsible for transporting the animals were arrested. The turtles were also confiscated and after a health check they should be returned to their place of origin. It should be remembered that this issue of trafficking of protected animals is one of the things that disgraced the country not long ago. The investigation will determine if they are about to be sent abroad again. The first thing that is known is that they were about to be transported to the capital and this one was caught in Toliara. The investigation needs to go further and dismantle the network that is behind this dirty business again.
