14 Jordanian pilgrims lost their lives in the Holy Land, 17 people are missing

It was reported that the number of Jordanian pilgrims who lost their lives in the Holy Land increased to 14 and 17 people went missing.

14 PILGRIM CANDIDATES DIE, 17 PEOPLE MISSING

Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement regarding the pilgrims who lost their lives in Saudi Arabia. In the statement of the ministry, it was stated that the number of Jordanian pilgrims who lost their lives in the Holy Land increased to 14 and 17 people went missing.

NO STATEMENT WAS MADE REGARDING THE CAUSES OF DEATH

In the statement, it was stated that the Jordanian Consulate in Jeddah followed “the procedures regarding the burial of the deceased pilgrims and the transfer of the remains of the relatives of the families who wish to do so to Jordan as soon as possible” with the Saudi authorities, and that the search for the 17 missing people was continuing. In the statement, it was stated that the dead and missing people were from outside Jordan’s official pilgrimage delegation, but no information was given about the causes of death of these people.

6 PEOPLE DIED DUE TO SUNSTROKE

In the statement made yesterday by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was reported that 6 Jordanian pilgrims lost their lives as a result of sunstroke while performing the pilgrimage.
