Within the scope of the 2023-2024 Rural Development Investments Support Program in Diyarbakır, a total grant amount of 128 million TL will be paid to investors.
In a written statement made by Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it was stated that a grant agreement meeting was held within the scope of the Agriculture-Based Economic and Infrastructure Investment Program. It was reported that the relevant investment program, which offers 50 percent grant support for agriculture-based economic and infrastructure investments, aims to ensure economic, social and infrastructural development in rural areas, develop agricultural and non-agricultural employment, increase the level of income in rural areas and raise the level of welfare, and thus make life in rural areas sustainable.
The statement included the following statements:
“Within the scope of the investment program implemented in 16 stages in 4 periods of five years, 195 projects with a total project amount of 386 million TL were implemented in Diyarbakır between 2006-2023, and 193 million TL in grant payments were made. With these economic investment projects, employment was provided to 2,355 people in Diyarbakır. Within the scope of the 2023-2024 Rural Development Investment Support Program in our province, grant agreements were signed with our investors for 3 infrastructure projects and 21 economic investment projects, and a total grant amount of 128 million TL will be paid to our investors.”
The meeting ended with a group photo taken after the investors signed the grant agreements.
The meeting held in the meeting hall of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry was attended by Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Ertan Atalar, Deputy Provincial Director Mehmet Şefik Türker, Rural Development and Organization Branch Manager Naide Erdoğmuş and investors. – DIYARBAKIR
