The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription was established by the decree signed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on February 13, 2012.
Publika.az informs that since the day the Service was established, mobilization preparation and organization of mobilization work in accordance with the direction of activity, initial military registration of citizens, preparation for full-term active military service and conscription, education of young people in the spirit of military patriotism, at the same time reception and consideration of citizens’ applications, citizen satisfaction, improvement of the legislative base, fight against corruption, staffing of the Service with more skilled and educated personnel, strengthening of the material and technical base and other areas have achieved achievements.
In order to ensure the implementation of the relevant decrees of the President of Azerbaijan on the conscription of citizens for a term of active military service, the Service successfully implements the recruitment of senior citizens in accordance with the law and handing them over to the military units where they are assigned to serve.
In accordance with the approved plan during the 44-day Patriotic War, the recruitment of reserve military officers to the assembly of the Azerbaijan Army, and the provision of the required number of military vehicles based on the orders of the Armed Forces, were successfully implemented.
The Civil Service is always sensitive to the families of martyrs, war veterans, and their appeals. Thus, 21 participants of the Patriotic War who successfully passed the process of checking knowledge and physical training during the recruitment of the personnel of the Service were hired and presented with service cards by the head of the Service.
