A young man has been accused of shooting dead 12 members of his family in Iran. The British news agency Reuters reported that he did this because of family turmoil. The gruesome incident took place in Faryab village in the southeastern province of Kerman on Saturday (February 17).
Meanwhile, the accused youth (25) died in police firing. However, the local administration has not revealed his identity yet. Ibrahim Hamidi, the head of the judiciary in Kerman province, told local media that the attacker’s family had been in trouble for several days. On Saturday, when the trouble reached a peak, the young man committed this horrible murder.

According to local media reports, this young man suddenly entered the house from outside and attacked the family members. Before anyone knew anything, the gun fired. A total of 12 members of the family including his father and brother died on the spot.
The police quickly reached the spot after receiving the information. The police claimed that even when they arrived, the young man had a gun in his hand. He even fired at the policemen. The police repeatedly called him to stage a dharna. But he did not do that and tried to escape by firing at the police.
