Einstein is said to have an IQ of 160. This figure is only an estimate, because it is unlikely that Einstein ever took an IQ test.
Humans generally have an IQ with an average score of 100. Therefore, people who have an IQ above 140 are called geniuses. These geniuses have been recorded in history with their various contributions to the world.
Immediately, here is a list of 10 people with an IQ above Albert Einstein, reported by Reader’s Digest, Friday (19/04/2024):
1. Naga De Mello (IQ 400)
In 1988, when Adragon De Mello graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a degree in computational mathematics at the age of 11, he was the youngest college graduate in the US. Although he reportedly has a projected IQ of 400, De Mello has not appeared much in the public eye in the past 20 years. In 2001, when he was 24 years old he was known as a “high tech worker”.
2. Leonardo da Vinci (IQ 180-220)

3. Isaac Newton (IQ 190-200)
Sir Isaac Newton is another example of a scientist who was far ahead of his time. Although he is best known for his principle of universal gravitation, this 17th-century thinker was also a mathematician, astronomer, and writer. It is estimated that his IQ score was between 190 and 200. The interesting fact is that Isaac Newton was one of the geniuses who made history in quarantine.
4. Nikola Tesla (IQ 160-310)
Nikola Tesla , the Serbian-American inventor—and archrival of Thomas Edison—reportedly had an estimated IQ between 160 and 310. Although he was responsible for dreaming up a wide variety of new technologies, Tesla is best known for inventing the first alternating current motor and developing AC generation and transmission technology . In the final years of his life, Tesla’s mental health deteriorated, and he died alone in the New York hotel room where he was staying.

8. Nicolaus Copernicus (IQ 160)
Polish astronomer and mathematician Nicolaus Copernicus may have had an estimated IQ score ranging from 160 to 200, but his ideas weren’t always the most popular. For example, the Catholic Church banned his book De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium for more than two centuries. In it, he put forward a heliocentric model of the universe, which placed the sun—and not the Earth—at the center of the solar system.
9. Johan Goethe (IQ 210-225)
American electrochemical engineer Libb Thims, when attempting to find the person with the highest IQ in history, did so using a methodology that predicted a person’s IQ based on how much he or she achieved each 10 years of his or her life.
This is useful when trying to rank people who predate the IQ test. Based on his own approach, Thims estimates that German Renaissance man Johann Goethe was the person with the highest IQ of all time, with scores ranging from 210 to 225. Although he was known as a philosopher, Goethe was also an accomplished scientist and poet.
10. Jacob Barnett (IQ 170)

However, this American prodigy completed grades 6 to 12 in less than a year, then went to college at the age of 10. He was already a physicist when he was 13 years old. He is now 21 years old and pursuing a PhD.
