The 1° de Agosto junior women’s team won the Silvia Cabral cup this Sunday, by defeating the Gabriela Futebol Clube team, in the final game, by 06 x 05 on penalties, after a two-goal draw, in regulation time.
The coach of 1° de Agosto, Lurdes Lutonda, congratulated the Luanda Provincial Football Association for the “brilliant organization of the tournament”. Then, she expressed the feeling of victory.
The secret, revealed the wife of ex-basketball player Miguel Lutonda, is to internalize that they were competing with a great opponent, “but as it is common knowledge that whenever 1° de Agosto appears, he appears to win”.
The coach of the Gabriela FC team pointed out to the arbitration that “it wasn’t fair, that’s why they were at a disadvantage” However, they were happy with the result of 2nd place.
1° de Agosto fan, Adão Ernesto, stated that it was a true final, without injustice, so the balance is positive.

In which nine teams participated, from 1° de Agosto, Gabriela FC, Sol Nascente, Real Sport Escola, Nova Geração, Malú FC, Onça de Viana, Fley Play and Gelson FC. 1° Agosto won the cup and came out as first placed, Gabriela FC. In second place with a diploma of merit, Sol Nascente was in third place, and athlete Emília Panzo was named the best goalkeeper.
