Michael Diamond Resnick, born March 5, 1952, better known as Mike Resnick (Michael Diamond Resnick, born March 5, 1952, better known as Mike Resnick,…), is an American author of science fiction novels and short stories.
Part of his literary production is inspired by Africa (with an area of 30,221,532 km2 including the islands,…). This is the case of Ivory or Kirinyaga, but also of the trilogy that constitutes Paradise, Purgatory and Hell, where Resnick transposes (transparently) onto distant planets the history of decolonization of various countries (Country comes from the Latin pagus which designated a territorial territory and subdivision tribal of the extension…) of English-speaking Africa.
