The final showdown for the “bold but not bold for democracy and the rule of law” bill on equality in civil marriage and procreation for same-sex couples, as defined by the emergency minister of state Akis Skertsos, is tonight. The position of Antonis Samaras, who will present the ideological framework of his disagreements with the reform, but also the intervention of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who will judge the final position of the majority MPs who are still wavering, are expected to set the tone. The fermentations in order to convince even at the last moment as many of the dissenters as possible are peaking.
