In recent weeks, one of the United States’ most wanted fugitives, Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, was captured along with a son of “El Chapo” Guzmán near El Paso.
The DEA’s most wanted list has undergone changes and the names that have been most talked about in the last decade are still Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar and Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes.
The Drug Enforcement Agency has only the two mentioned above on its list as the most wanted with a reward of 10 million dollars. For a smaller amount, they are followed by Yulian Andony Archaga Carias and Chuen Yip, for whom they are offering five million and Oscar Noe Medina Gonzalez, for whom they are offering more than four million.
Andony Archaga is originally from Honduras and Chuen is from China. Both are considered dangerous fugitives who may be armed, so it is recommended not to try to stop them if you are alone.
Yulian Andony Archaga Cares
The FBI says he is the alleged leader of the Mara Salvatrucha MS-13 gang throughout his country and provides support and resources to the Mara’s operations in Central America and the United States with weapons, narcotics and money.
He is therefore wanted for drug trafficking offences, including supporting the delivery of tons of cocaine from Honduras to the United States and ordering and participating in the murder of members of rival gangs.
Chuen Yip
He is the owner and head of the Yuancheng Group in China. The US State Department notes that is allegedly one of the most prolific suppliers of anabolic steroids in the world.
Over a five-year period, according to an indictment, he and his co-defendants were responsible for producing and distributing some $280 million worth of illegal anabolic steroids to customers throughout the United States as well as 84 other countries.
DEA investigations have revealed that he also sold illicit synthetic opioids and fentanyl precursor chemicals between 2015 and 2018 to customers in the United States.
One indictment alleges that fentanyl precursor was delivered to a location in the United States and the customer intended for it to be trafficked to Mexico to be combined with other chemicals to produce fentanyl that would then be trafficked to the United States and distributed.
The DEA’s most wanted list, which appears in no particular order, includes other members of the Sinaloa Cartel, at least two of whom work for the “Chapitos” gang:
– Liborio Nunez Aguirre
– Alan Gabriel Nuñez Herrera
– Yulian Andony Archaga Carias
– Chuen Yip
– Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar
– Osar Noé Medina González
-Kun Jiang
– Carlos Omar Felix Gutierrez
– Silvano Francisco Marino
-Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes
