The Academy, from the Girón canton, works with the objective of arriving competitively at the beginning of the National Futsal League Serie A.
Its leaders have hired several figures to achieve their objectives: obtain the title and qualify for the Copa Libertadores. The official matches will begin on Saturday, April 6.
In the minds of the directors of the Girona representative, the idea of just fighting the decisive phases does not pass. This was stated by the club’s manager and coach, Juan Quituisaca, who led a press conference, which took place yesterday in this city. He was accompanied by players, Mayor Cristian Ochoa, among others.
According to Quituisaca, the objective is to complete two months of preseason and arrive at a competitive pace at the start of the League. “We have the goal of fighting in the local tournament. We also know the level of our rivals, and no one will give us an advantage. The goal is to be the first Azuayo team to be in a Libertadores.
Hiring
To balance forces with the other teams, the ‘AKD’ has added figures from Cuenca futsal. Among the new faces of the team consists of goalkeeper Marlon Pesántez. Join Jhonatan †̃Monkeyâ€TM Fernandez and Lex Carpio.
