Run. Fun. Charity. Just over 1,000 participants took part in the Sternenhalle run in autumn 2023. Around 11,500 euros were raised for the charitable purpose.
Vienna (OTS) – Celebrities, such as the successful former ski jumper and crowd favorite Andi Goldberger or the athlete of the year Eva Pinkelnig, ran together with more than 1,000 participants in the fall for fun and a good cause. 1 euro was donated for each round completed in the Star Hall. The first indoor charity run raised more than 11,000 euros. The main sponsor of the Sternenhalle Run, which was initiated and organized by the Vienna PR agency Himmelhoch, was VOLKSBANK WIEN AG.
“As regional house banks, the Volksbanks are closely linked to their customers. We also take our social responsibility beyond business and financing and want to bring people together. Social commitment is particularly important to us,” says Wolfgang Layr, press spokesman for VOLKSBANK WIEN AG.
As a sponsor, VOLKSBANK WIEN AG made a major contribution to the success and donations of the event. Now the 11,335 euros raised by the participants have been presented to four charitable organizations: CliniClowns, Schottenhof, Sterntalerhof and SOS Children’s Village.
Next opportunity 2024
After the brilliant success of the first indoor charity run, it will take place again this year. Companies, teams, families, children and celebrities can run again for a good cause in late autumn 2024. The second Sternenhalle Run will also feature action, fun, numerous surprises and of course social engagement.
