The Democrat Marianne Williamsona self-help book guru, has announced that she is withdrawing her candidacy for the nomination of the Democratic Party of the United States in the primary process for the 2024 presidential elections, after its failure in the electoral events of recent days in which the American president, Joe Biden, has obtained more than 90% of the votes.

Williamson’s decision to withdraw his candidacy comes a day after Biden won 90% of the vote in the Nevada primary (the first in a west coast state), while she got 2.5%. The third candidate, Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, was not on the ballot because he filed late.

In 2020 she was a candidate with an unconventional campaign that proposed love and peace to defeat the then president, Donald Trump.
