MOP will take a night walk from Bicentenario Park

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) will carry out a night walk in Bicentenario Park on February 24. Attendees can take the tour by bicycle, scooter or skateboard. This in order to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.

The activity will begin at 5:00 in the afternoon from Bicentenario Park and then will travel the cycle path circuit on Monseñor Romero Boulevard.

“We will arrive at El Principito Park, Merliot Boulevard, we will pass through El Platillo, we will pass through El Pedregal Street, the United Nations Roundabout and El Espino Avenue, to culminate in the new plaza that we are building, where a blue woman was,” he explained. Minister Romeo Rodríguez.

The head of the MOP reported that there will be free transportation in different areas of the country, where there are many cyclists who need to travel to the starting point.

«There will be more than 500 bicycles for loan to attendees. Soon we will be detailing the dynamics to apply to this Night Walk,” said Rodríguez.

A kit for cyclists and hydration will also be provided. «Traffic managers and the National Civil Police (PNC) will be there to guarantee safe mobility for all attendees.

“We are also going to have mechanical assistance, the loan of bicycles and many other surprises that have been prepared in this night ride,” reiterated the Vice Minister of Transportation, Nelson Reyes.
