Nick Marsman, the goalkeeper of Miami Inter in the MLS where Leo Messi will play next season, was admitted to the hospital after being bitten by a dangerous venomous spider during a family visit to a zoo.
The Dutch goalkeeper’s partner, Nathalie den Dekker, shared the health issues of Marsman through a post on Instagram.
“The downside of living in a tropical climate is that if you go to the zoo and get bitten by a venomous spider… you end up hospitalized for three days,” shared the former Miss Netherlands.
Nick Marsman, who usually serves as the backup for Drake Callender, has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. However, it is still uncertain when he will be fit to play for Inter Miami again.
