The entry of Chinese cars into European markets is an important issue today. In electric cars there is no longer the slightest doubt that Chinese car manufacturers can design and produce models which, at least in the parameters of the electric part, surpass the products of traditional brands and reach the level of Tesla.
On the contrary, our citizens still do not see good reasons to buy them with internal combustion models from China: we can make these engines very well in Europe. What if we told you that you can now have an MG HS with a lively 1.5 Turbo engine (118 kW), in the sales version before the facelift and basic Emotion equipment, for CZK 579,900?
An attractive price and a comfortable chassis are reasons to think about the car, probably even stronger than the famous British logo on the front. Just such a car, and indeed exactly in the “price starting from” version, passed the Motor World’s one-year long-term test, and Martin Vaculík undertook the final evaluation after 30,000 km.
